Woocommerce products on homepage (blurry thumbnails)

Hi there,

I’ve recently installed the woocommerce plugin together with the Metaslider plugin. However I have two issues.

1) When I place Woocommerce products via the ‘Custom Homepage Option’ the pictures are very blurry and poor of quality while they are well displayed when a visitor clicks on the shop?
2) How can I get a designed photo in the homepage slider as the same quality as in the demo slider?
When I upload a stock photo with the right dimensions (1080 x 420) it stays very blury and poor of quality?

Please help

Bets regards Marvin W

    Hi Marvin

    1. Please send me a link if possible and I’ll take a look.

    2. The method used in the demo is described in our tutorial: https://siteorigin.com/vantage-documentation/getting-started/slider/. The text is a separate overlay image. The background is being stretched but due to the overlay method, the text is not.

    Hi Andrew,

    1. http://gpherogear.nl/ this is the link of the homepage were the problem lays. On the bottom you’ll see 10 products, but compared to the shop it looks way to blury. On my other site http://www.ledlightdeal.nl it works great though…

    2. I’ve made a banner in photoshop with the following dimensions 1080 x 420 but for example on ledlightdeal.nl it doesn’t take the whole banner to display but like 80%?

Hoping hearing from you soon, because I have visitors each day on my website (potential buyers) when they see blurry photos it’s quite bad…

    Best regards

    Hi, I Work Here

The images being outputted on your LED site are 150px wide vs the 90px wide images on the Hero site. Is there perhaps something that can be done from that perspective:

    http://docs.woothemes.com/document/using-the-appropriate-product-image-dimensions/

The best slider fix on the LED site would be to add the text as a separate layer. It’s what we’ve done on the Vantage demo and we go over it here: https://siteorigin.com/vantage-documentation/getting-started/slider/. Please give that a try.
