Will removing the Pages by SiteOrigin plugin effect my site layout?

Hi,

Our wordpress sites were recently hacked and our Malware company is asking that I remove the Page Builder by SiteOrigin plugin from my sites in order to clean things up…however, I’m concerned that removing this plugin will effect the layouts of my pages or break the site altogether. Can you please advise as to if this will happen, or what I can expect after deleting the plugin?

    Hi Jenn

    Thanks for reaching out.

    Page Builder can be deleted and re-installed, thereby ensuring that the contents of its plugin folder are free from infection. That’s no problem. Permenately removing Page Builder, however, will impact your layouts, I’m not sure why that would be required though.
