Widgets Stopped Working – Reinstalling Plugin Didn’t Help – Content Inaccessible

I’m having an issue where I had like price box widgets on my site and some others and the widgets stopped working. The widget disappeared from my site and I can’t access the content for those widgets. I have deleted and reinstalled the widgets plugin, however the content didn’t reappear on my pages.

My website is still broken and I can’t see the content that was in the widgets. They didn’t come back after this.

Can you help me with getting the content back from those widgets?

Thanks,
Larry

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Larry,

Does this issue only affect certain widgets or does it all widgets (newly added and pre-existing widget)?

Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Larry,

To confirm, did you run the plugin conflict?

You did and it didn’t help, is SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle in your installed plugins list (WP AdminPluginsInstalled Plugins)? If it is, can you please clarify what version of SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle is installed. For reference, the latest version is 1.15.2.

I still can’t get it to work Alex. I have tried everything you said.

Could you see if you could get it working for me if I gave you my admin credentials and cPanel login info?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Larry,

Can you please confirm the version of Page Builder by SiteOrigin and the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle you’re using?

Could you see if you could get it working for me if I gave you my admin credentials and cPanel login info?

Unfortunately, that’s is beyond the scope of what we can help you with on our forums. We do offer this level of support to SiteOrigin Premium users.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Larry,

Actually, please navigate to WP AdminSettingsPage Builder and open the Widgets tab. Tick Legacy Bundled Widgets and save. Does that allow you to use the Price Box again?

Yes! Now it’s showing up here: http://www.myvoassistant.com/custom-messaging-center/ <http://www.myvoassistant.com/custom-messaging-center/>

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Larry,

    Great to hear! :)

The widgets you’re using are legacy widgets – all legacy widgets contain (PB) in the widget title. It’s recommended you move away from those widgets in favor of widgets added by the SiteOrgin Widgets Bundle. For example, we recommend using the SiteOrigin Price Table widget instead of the Price Box widget.

Please be sure to post another thread if you have any other questions.

Yes, for sure. Now that I got my data and the stuff in there, I can work on move them over to new widgets and moving forward with the new widgets, so I don’t have this issue in the future. Thanks for getting me back up and running.
