Widgets Stacking

6 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 6 years ago

I have three widgets in my header that stack vertically when I change to mobile display. I am wanting them to stay horizontal in line with each other to the right side of the header.

I wasn’t sure if I am being stupid and there is an easy fix or if I need to input some custom CSS.

My URL is www.murrayfielddental.co.uk

Thanks

    Hi Scotia

    Thanks for reaching out.

Try editing the Features widget and disable the setting labeled Responsive layout.

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly.

I disabled the responsive layout feature on each of the 3 widgets but they are still stacking when I change display. I also made sure the features per row was 3 but that made no difference either.

    Sure.

The challenge is that you’ve added three Features widget. Try adding three features inside a single Features widget.

Thanks Andrew, that’s resolved the issue of them stacking. I still can’t get them to go to the right side of the header when in mobile display but still in line with the logo. I was wondering if there is simple code for this or if I need to use Page Builder layout widget?

Glad to hear you’re making progress. At CustomizeTheme SettingsLogo try enabling No Widget Overlay.

It looks perfect in full mode but still not right on a mobile. I’m now just wanting to move the logo and the widgets when in responsive display so that they are all on 1 line instead of the widgets lying under the logo. Have tried some custom CSS but still can’t get it to work.

Thanks for your feedback. The expected behavior on mobile would be for the widget area to drop below the logo. An example of this behavior can be seen in the Vantage demo https://demo.siteorigin.com/vantage/. Our free support scope is limited to assistance with basic usage and troubleshooting. I wish we could dive into Custom CSS changes here on the forum. We’re a small setup with limited resources. We can assist with Custom CSS adjustments within our SiteOrigin Premium support scope where we have the budget. If you’re seeing behavior that differs from the demo or from normal operation, I can certainly assist.
