Widgets do not align vertically

Hi, I have some trouble with widgets that don’t align with each other vertically (Left margin).
Look at the headline TANKAR OM SKULPTUR and the text under neath there is like a 10px difference.

BUT when I resize the browser window down from 1200px to 1199px the problem disappears! How do I solve this across the site?

Look at this site:

Thank you

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Hectornado,

It looks like there is padding applied to the cell. To correct this open up the page, find the row with the widget in it and edit the row. Go over to the row styles sidebar and click layout. You’ll see a setting called gutter, change it to 0.

Hmm. I don’t really get it. I’m using SiteOrigin Editor for the headline and the same SiteOrigin Editor for the two columns underneath. why different distance from the left edge?
If I set the gutter to 0 the space between the columns disappear… NO?

You are perfectly right though that the margins are working fine when set gutter to 0. But no space between columns which is no good.

Is this a theme related problem och Page builder you think?

Don’t get why it is working when rezizing just ONE single pixel down to 1199 though, thats bothers me. Something must be set wrong in the @media only screen and (min-width: 1200px) code? And correct in the rest. Otherwise I don’t get the logic of the problem.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Hectornado,

Gutter is the space between the columns so yes, there will be little space between the two when there is no gutter. You fix this by instead by adding the padding on a widget level instead.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Hectornado,

Not too sure why, but this is is a theme issue. They’ve set the padding and margin to 40px when it’s 1200px and more. They’ve also set it so I can’t override it with CSS. While I might be able to help you with this issue further, your theme developers will definitely be able to help you. I suggest contacting them however, I’m still willing to try and fix this issue. I cannot promise anything however.

Hello and thanks for your fastness!
First, the space between columns is not little, it’s actually zero, which makes it unreadable.
But padding a widget is not possible either, If adding padding to a SiteOrigin Editor widget the padding will be on ALL edges around the widget – can not specify just ONE edge unless custom CSS. And that is not an option in this case since Iäm handing it over to a client.

And you are probably right. The theme is acting weird on 1200px and above.
And it would be weird if Page builder was set with different paddings on standard widgets out of the box.
    So, I’m switching forums! :)
Letting you know how it ends.
    Thanks.
