I’ve been scouting out what is making my GoDaddy-hosted side go so slow lately, and I’ve found that, even after I kill them, the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle plugin keeps restarting two or three PHP processes, which fills up my physical memory limit. How can I diagnose and repair what is wrong with this plugin?

Hi Pete,
That’s odd! Is there any information you can give us about the processes – are they just standard PHP? I ask this isn’t knowingly occurring as far as I can tell.
Does this issue occur when only the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle is the only active plugin?
Hi Alex!
Yes, it still occurs when SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle is the only active plugin.
The only information I can find is the PHP Processes page in GoDaddy’s cPanel. I have tried attaching a screenshot of the information in cPanel.
Hi Pete,
That looks normal to me. To clarify, how much memory does your server have?
GoDaddy’s resource level 1 includes 512MB of RAM. This level is working great for other similar sites I have. If there is another option than upgrading, I’d take it. That’s why I’m hunting for the source of the PHP processes.
Hi Pete,
512MB, while not a lot, should be more than enough. To clarify, do you run into issues when only SiteOrigin Page Builder (if you’re using it) and SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle are active? If so, what about with a default theme enabled?
