Hello,
My trouble is in the title. I’ve implemented the “Social media buttons” widget and it works very fine, on large screens. On tablets and smartphones, the widget doesn’t show up. So, isn’t the widget responsive? How can I make these buttons appearing on smaller screens? (My website is responsive.)
Thank you in advance.
Hi Lilla,
SiteOrigin Social Media button is responsive. It’s definitely not meant to be disappearing.
Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on?
Hi Alex,
Thanks for your reply.
Here is the website URL: http://www.forwardis.com/index.php/fr/page-daccueil/
Thank you.
Hi Lilla,
The social icons are being hidden due to how your theme handles those header widgets on mobile/tablet. I would recommend reaching out to the theme developers about avoiding this.
With that said, this could be prevented with some custom CSS. Unfortunately, this is beyond the scope of the support we’re able to offer on our free forums. There is a fair amount of custom work involved.
We do offer this level of support to our premium users, so if you’d like to upgrade to SiteOrigin Premium, then I can help you over email support.
If you’d prefer not to upgrade to SiteOrigin Premium, then you can hire a WordPress developer from Codeable. They’ll charge you an hourly rate for any work done.
Hi Alex,
Thank you very much for your explanation! I’ll have a look at it, and get back to you for an upgrade to SiteOrigin Premium if needed.
