WordPress 4.6.1, trying out Vantage theme 1.5.7, SiteOrigin CSS 1.1.2, Page Builder 2.4.19. Site work-in-progress: foo.teamsurvivornw.org
In a static home page I’m using the builder. One box contains a “Simple Calendar” widget. Everything seems to work fine, but when I edit (hmmm, not sure what, probably most anything) something else via the “Appearance > Home Page” window with builder, the calendar disappears. Attempting to edit that box with the Builder reveals “Missing Widget” because the widget name is now “SimpleCalendarWidgetsCalendar”, which of course does not exist. Not immediately obvious to me where the string “WidgetsCalendar” could be coming from. I have to delete and re-create the widget to make the calendar function again, until it breaks with the next edit.
I see an old, possibly related question for which the answer seemed to be a problem with namespacing that new version was supposed to fix. I believe Simple Calendar is namespaced, if that’s relevant.
Hi Ronburk,
Thanks for letting us know about this. I’ve logged this as a bug in our issue tracker. Unfortunately, this does appear to be an issue related to namespace.
