Widget for capturing data from a contact form

By Simo, 7 years ago. Last reply by Simo, 7 years ago.

Hi

I am learning wordpress and using the fabulous Vantage theme.

I have installed the “Fast Secure Contact Form” by Mike Challis, and it seems to work great as can attach documents as well.

What I am trying to do is capture the data input into the fields to be stored in a dbase of some sort. At this stage may be excel.. don’t cringe please.

Any recommendations on how best to do this?

As ever many thanks for your great support in my learning.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Simo,

Unfortunately, this isn’t possible without a fair amount of custom coding. This is beyond the scope of what we can help you with on the forums, but you could hire a developer to implement this for you. We highly recommend using Codeable.

If a developer isn’t an option, I would instead recommend using a contact form that includes this sort of functionality.
