Hey guys.
I have purchased the Vantage theme. I love the page builder, and love the design of the theme.
but my question is, why is it so dam hard to just create a page that works?
Every time I create a row, insert a picture, insert text etc. there is always white spaces either being top or bottom (which I have looked through the forums and found custom css to fix this) or left and right white spaces which I have not been able to fix yet.
but my question is.. why is it so hard just to have content reach the full width and height of the row that I put it in?
I spend hours apon hours trying to get things to line up and match. why would anyone want to create a row with content that had white spaces in it to start with? it looks silly and unbalanced, so why have you even created this theme will all these spaces as default?
also why cant I just change these options easily via the settings. It does have some options on the settings menu but you guys keep instucting people to use custom css to fix it.
it is really doing my head in.
If I want to create a webpage, I just want to be able to insert content and have that content ( pictures or backgrounds) run the length of that row.
I just do not understand why it is so hard to get this right?
If I am missing something, please let me know.
like, why do I have to use custom CSS and search on google to find such simple solutions that should be included in the theme.?
Regards,
Ryan
Hi Ryan,
You can fix/change this with some custom CSS. If you navigate to Appearance > Custom CSS, you’ll get our custom CSS editor. Just add the following code.
Let me know if this works for you.
Cheers
Hi, I was able to fix some of it, but I still have a bottom margin on my picture (white space)
here is my custom css
thanks
Hi Ryan
The row that has the image widget, edit that, click Theme tab on the right and check the “No Bottom Margin” checkbox. Should do the trick.
Page Builder 2.1 is nearly ready. It’s going through our testing group at the moment. We’ll be improving the issues around row padding, apologies for the hassle.
