White space between body and footer in Vantage Premium

Hi Andrew,

Using Vantage Premium and Pagebuilder, with your suggested CSS to remove space between the menu and top of Pagebuilder rows.

Finalizing the site. There is a white space gap between the body copy, Pagebuilder, area and the top of the footer. I’m using the Layout Builder widget in the footer. How do I set the gap to be “0”?

BTW: The process of learning how to use Vantage and Pagebuilder got much easier when I began to fully understand the layout and design setting differences between rows and widgets in rows. You really have to pay attention to both, not just one or the other, to get the look you want. I think I have it relatively figured out. My process is now to create one each of the basic row types, including the widgets needed. If I get all the settings right on those, I can just duplicate the rows, then go in and adjust the copy. It’s a lot faster than doing one row at a time.

    Found it:

    /* Footer and Body Zero Padding */.layout-full #colophon {padding-bottom: 0px !important;padding-top: 0px !important;}#main {padding-bottom: 0px !important;}

    Andrew,

    You guys are great. I’ve come around to the combination of SiteOrigin theme with Pagebuilder as a good solution to
    web site design on WordPress.

    Your Premium service is fantastic. You’ve been incredibly helpful on the various issues that have come up.

    I’ve been knocking around with WP for a few years, in both the free and premium products. I love what the guys at Weaver have done, but their overall starting point has a dated look and feel. They have multiple widget areas built into the theme, and you can get pretty close to modern styling with them. But’s hard, and has waaay too many switches to control. But, like you, their forums, and community are really good.

    I’ve used Dyson’s OptimizePress 1 and 2.0 for landing pages and membership sites. The results are good, and the back end functions available are extensive. But layout design is harder than it looks. WPMUDEV’s recent plugin for layout is problematic, too.

    I’ve used lots of other standard programs with layout widget functionality. Overall, your combination delivers both the modern look, and layout options. That said, you’re much more direct in problem solving. I like being part of a community effort to make these products work together. I think it should be fairly standard for people who find solutions to go ahead and post them. I found them in your threads, and it was easy to comment back.

    I appreciate your note.
