I am trying to resolve the white space issue under the video on this page http://www.iweathernet.com/educational/lake-effect-snow-great-lakes. I have the video set to the default dimensions (4:3). The video responds well to the mobile device, but there is the extraneous white space. Any ideas?
Thanks!
Chris

Hi Chris
Please try the following under Appearance > Custom CSS:
Worked perfectly! Thank you so much for your responses and availability on this forum. I tried several themes before discovering Vantage, and I am so happy that I found it :)
I have another question coming, so you’ll see a new thread from me in a few moments. Thanks again.
Super, glad to hear that did the trick. Thanks for your support, glad to hear Vantage is working out.
Andrew,
I am also seeing excessive white space in between rows on my homepage http://www.iweathernet.com/ on my mobile device.
Do you have any suggestions to resolve that?
Hi Chris
It looks like there are empty rows/columns in use. When viewed on mobile those get stacked vertically instead of horizontally like on desktop. This causes a doubling of space. Are you perhaps able to remove those?
When I view with PageBuilder, there are no empty rows. Only the used rows are displayed.
Can you check this section:
Significant Flooding Possible in the Wake of the Historic Lake-Effect Snow Event
Is there not a thin column, 7.938% wide, then that content, followed by another thin column?
oh yes, I do have a thin column there to help indent the content. Is a column causing additional rows vertically?
On mobile the first column gets placed above the middle column and the third column gets placed below the middle column. Everything that was horizontal is then vertical. That’s unfortunately adding to spaces that already exist.
Ok. I will eliminate them. I will indent content with CSS (the proper, non-lazy way to do it anyway haha).
Thanks for your help
Chris
For sure. As you mentioned, you can use the ID’s available there to add padding to either side.
