White screen of death in wp-admin Editing

3 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 3 years ago

The white screen of death for wp-admin editing was caused by SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle. Below is the warning message:

Notice: wp_enqueue_script() was called incorrectly. “wp-editor” script should not be enqueued together with the new widgets editor (wp-edit-widgets or wp-customize-widgets). Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 5.8.0.) in /hermes/bosnacweb04/bosnacweb04/bosnacweb04bg/b2193/nf.ibpsottawaorg/public_html/wp/wp-includes/functions.php on line 5665

    Hi SuCheng

Apologies for the hassle. We suspect a plugin conflict was the issue which is why we didn’t pick it up in pre or post-release testing. We’re glad to hear the update helped.

All the best with your site.

    Kind regards

    Andrew
