Oh dear. I installed Jet Pack Visibility Widget, then deactivated some unwanted JetPack plugins and now I am getting white boxes behind my text and images. Any suggestions? Did I delete something??

I’m unfortunately unable to access your site correctly. It’s a blank (dark) page right now. How are things on your side? If you’re having a problem but can still access the WP admin, turning off all plugins is a good place to start.

I’m looking for an Event Calendar for my sidebar. Do events always have to be linked to a blog post or can you simply add an event thru the calendar admin? (The CP Multi View Calendar seems to require a blog post).
Also, some calendars didn’t work with the JetPack Visibility feature.

I unfortunately don’t have any event plugin experience. Yes, I’d imagine event plugins would need to link each event to a post with the full details.
I agree. Unfortunately they link to the calendar on the date of the blog post not the date of the event!
That’s unfortunately something that would need to be looked at in relation to the plugin being used. Perhaps there is something in it’s options panel. Perhaps you could open a support thread with the authors. Hope you make progress here.
