Where to Add a Video

Hello,

We have just had a really cheap video made for the website which we want to add to the front page front and sent so that potential customers can watch it when they arrive at the website.

The website is http://imagetopainting.com/

The video is: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B6daCvqVyAnsXzktVEFSMzBzaVk/view?usp=sharing

However, I don’t really know what I could move where or where I could insert it into the website. Perhaps in the slider?

I was hoping you may have a suggestion.

Regards,
Daniel

    Hi Daniel

Thanks for reaching out. You could consider hosting your video on YouTube and then using the Visual Editor widget in Page Builder to insert the video using YouTube’s Embed code. You’d insert the Embed code in the Text tab of the Visual Editor widget.

Alternatively upload your video to your Media Library via Media > Add New and then use the Add Media button in the Visual Editor widget (in Page Builder) to insert it.

    Hope that helps.

    Hi Andrew,

Sorry I didn’t mean how do I add the video to the site directly, I was asking if you had any recommendations on where on the webpage you recommend I add it.

    Regards,
    Daniel

Sure. Below the Circle Icon’s isn’t a bad place. The ones before the footer on the home page. Although full width will be too much so you’d ideally want to split that column in two, add the video to the left and complimentary text to the right. Another idea could be to put the the newsletter signup form and Facebook block in the same widget and then perhaps put the video on the far right in the footer, thereby having it on every page. You could also combine the circle icon widgets into a 50% wide column and put the video in the other 50% wide column. So basically have the Circle Icon widgets on the left and the video on the right OR the other way around.

Everything above is referring to the home page.
