where i can turn off the sound in video background?

Hi@all,

i am new here and i am proud of siteorigin.
It is very simple and effectiv.
But i have got a question.

If i use the background video option and put my video in, it will be play with sound.
Can i turn it off or i have to do this in the video convertion software?

    Hi Tschorden,

    It really depends on the video you’re using. Videos hosted locally will have the sound automatically muted (if the browser allows for this) but videos hosted on services such as YouTube or Vimeo won’t. For those, you’ll need to manually remove the audio from those videos. Sorry mate. :(

    Hey,

    thanks for your answer. But it is a locally hosted video and it is not muted. The video file is on my http://ftp... If you have no pther idea i am going to mute the video in 3rd party software and upload it again. Is no problem.

    Hi Alex,

    That’s odd. To clarify, what browser are you using?
    Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on?
