Where Do I Find the Shortcodes of Pages?

6 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 6 years ago

Hello guys,

So I deleted a contact from a plugin, and since the shortcode was in the hompe page, it now displays some text saying “404 not found”. I am trying to find the shortcode but I can’t find it. I am also using a WP1 Slider widget and cannot find the shortcode on that too. There is no shortcode in the visual rows of the home page. If there is an HTML back end of the page, how do I access it. My website is flipbargains.com and the problem is on the home page.

Thanks,

R.W.

    Hi R.W.

The shortcodes aren’t contained in Page Builder or a SiteOrigin plugin. Without investigating the theme and site as a whole, there isn’t an easy way for me to say where they are, they might be hardcoded. The site developer would know where they are.

Hardcoded? If it was, where would it be?

I really couldn’t say. They could be outputted via a function using an action hook, the function could be contained in a number of places or they could be in a page template or in a theme partial.
