Where can I put shortcode?

7 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 7 years ago

I have a calculator I built that uses shortcode and I want to integrate this into my site. Currently I have been testing on a separate page but eventually it will go on a redesign of the homepage. The shortcode works fine if I add it using the regular wordpress text editor, on the visual tab. There is no formatting at all, it is just the default display.

I want to use page builder and thought it would work if I put it within the siteorigin Editor widget. It does not, it doesn’t display anything when I put the short code there.

Is there any way to use shortcode within page builder?

    Hi

You can try the shortcode in a Text widget and see if there is any change. If there is no change in output, try the shortcode in a Text widget in a theme widget area at AppearanceWidgets, is there any improvement? It’s possible the author has limited the editor locations in which the shortcode may be properly outputted.
