What theme for single page cafe-style pagebuilder layout?

Hi,

I just discovered PageBuilder and I’m also fairly new to wordpress. I managed to install the pagebuilder plug-in and found the prebuilt layout cafe-style, I liked it so much that I would like a simple web page just like that. Is it possible to make a wordpress site look just like it does at http://layouts.siteorigin.com/layout/cafe-style/ I don’t know what theme to use to make it look like that, I guess that I don’t what any theme at all. Maybe I have misunderstood the use of the PageBuilder plug-in or haven’t yet understood wordpress completely, but any help or advice would be much appriciated.

    Hi jazz

    Thanks for reaching out :)

    If you ever want to get a quick overview of Page Builder, please, find our docs here: Page: Getting Started With Page Builder. In short, Page Builder allows you to build layouts in WordPress pages/posts and add widgets to those layouts. Prebuilt layouts are combinations of rows, columns and widgets that we’ve prepared to help you get started. Page Builder operates within the theme that you have activated at Appearance > Themes. Consider giving our new theme North a try:

    It’s clean layout might be just what you’re after.

    Thank you Andrew, your help is very much appreciated! Your Siteorigin theme North seems to work great for my purpose, thank you for heading me to it. One question, is it possible to hide the menu to get the impression of a one page site, also is there a free and a Premium version of the theme North as well?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Jazz

    You can fix/change this with some custom CSS. If you navigate to AppearanceCustom CSS, you’ll get our custom CSS editor. Just add the following code.

    /* Top Bar and Header */

    #topbar, #masthead {
      display: none;
    }

    You might also need to install the SiteOrigin CSS Editor.

    North received an update earlier this month with new features. We’ll continue expanding the theme this year and beyond. There isn’t a premium version just yet.

    If anything else comes up, please, let us know.
