I currently have the Mobile Menu Collapse setting at 480, but it does not collapse on Mini or 8 inch ipads. What is the correct settings that will cover all ie, Mobiles & Tablets ?

    I currently have mine set at 550.

    Looking in Vantage Premium in Appearances – Editor – Stylesheet (right at the bottom)… this is what it has to say

    /* We consider 680px to be mobile resolution */
    @media (max-width: 680px) {
      body.responsive #masthead .hgroup {
        text-align: center;
      }

    Hope that helps!

    Thanks for feedback on this Gem, much appreciated.

    Hey John

    768 should be good for iPad Portrait. Give that a go and let us know how you come along.

    Thanks for you assistance. I have now set it to 680px and it collapses on my mobile only in portrait but not when I turn phone around to landscape, why it that?

    Also, I have a YouTube video on the front page, I iFramed the embed code into the Visual Editor siteorigin widget. Problem is, when I view it on my Android phone and I click Play, the video disappears, weird.? I’m not sure if its my phone or something else causing this issue. Could I ask you to help me by trying to play the video when on your mobile phone, and let me know.

    Thanks.

    What you’re doing is setting the viewport width that the mobile menu is applied at. When you rotate to landscape the viewport increases. Try 1024 for landscape.

    The home page video seems to play normally in iOS in Chrome (iPhone). Can you try testing on another Android device to confirm there is a problem?

    Thanks Andrew, I appreciate your help.

    Re: Home Page Video on Mobile.
    The strange thing is that I also have another YT video embedded using the visual editor widget on my About Vanquish page, and it plays perfectly. Just the home page video vanishes when I click it. Weird ?
    I will also ask a friend to check it on their phone.

    Couple of ideas:

    1. Clear WP Super Cache.
    2. Test the About video on the home page to see if the video makes a difference.
    3. If you’re using the SiteOrigin Editor widget and have Black Studio TinyMCE installed then try the Visual Editor widget instead.

    Hi Andrew,

    I’ve tried doing all of those suggestions. I also tried using the Video Widget. Unfortunately non of these worked when viewing Home Page Video on my Samsung mobile phone. When I click Play, the video disappears but the sound is playing… very strange?
    I don’t know what else to do. I’m hoping the issue is with my phone.

    Forgot to ask another question:

    I’m looking for a widget that will display an thumbnail image and have a snippet of text with Read More… that links to a page. Do you have any suggestions?

    So to confirm. When you put the Home page video on the About page it works on your phone?

    You could build what you need manually using the Visual Editor widget. Small image, text, link.

    You could also add your page as a post and then display the post using the Post Loop widget and the Grid template. That’s another option.
