Origami missing galleries

The theme was operating as normal — LOVE it! — and just today noticed that half of the stuff on my page (www.BeeMePhoto.com) was missing. Did something not jive well with the latest wordpress update? All of my pictures that were in the carousel are gone, and all of my latest posts are gone (text is there; pictures no longer). If I go into the post and “update it” without changing anything, it will bring the pictures up, but no longer in a carousel. Help!

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi BeeMePhoto

Sorry to hear about this hassle. Everything looks normal on my side. Did you manage to resolve?

Hi Andrew! It actually hasnt normalized. I’m thinking it has something to do with the latest Origami update; the latest WP update; and the need to update the Page Builder. For some reason, all posts with pictures (pretty much all of them), suddenly had all pics disapear (like this link: http://beemephoto.com/babies-a-new-baby-girl-in-pink/). I spent a few hours last night going through the latest posts and updating them. The three of the most recent ones, had pictures completely missing (ie I had to add them back into the post from the gallery). All other posts, all I had to do was refresh and reformat a bit. But as you see the link I provided above as well as a few other posts are still not back up to normal. Furthermore, my portfolios all had the siteorigin slider, http://beemephoto.com/Babies/, and now are just a series of photos.

I’m thinking that somehow maybe my page builder file got corrupted with all the updates? When I go into any post, I get the “please update Page Builder plugin” message up top. When I try to update it, it fails every time. Any ideas? I’m gonna try to play in the cpanel tonight and try to figure this out.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi BeeMePhoto

Would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a look? You can create the account with the following email address:

    [email protected]

Just navigate to Users > Add New in your WordPress admin. Enter siteorigin for the username and [email protected] for the email address. Make sure you’ve selected Administrator for the role and enabled the “Send Password” field so we receive the details.

Once we’re finished taking a look, you can delete this account. We’ll let you know when to do that.

Please, could you also indicate a page that you haven’t fixed yet. Thanks.

    Hi, I Work Here

Thanks for the info. I’m not quite following where the problem arose. You don’t have SiteOrigin Page Builder installed.

    In the two test posts:

    http://beemephoto.com/babies-a-new-baby-girl-in-pink/
    http://beemephoto.com/arlingtonva-newborn-photographer-2/

There are no galleries or left over Page Builder code present. It doesn’t look like you have revisions enabled for your WordPress installation so there is no way of rolling back to a previous version.

You could perhaps chat your hosts about backups. If there is a backup available at a point before the issue begun then that’s an option.

Did you delete Page Builder? Are you certain these posts were using Page Builder? Page Builder isn’t present in your plugins list: http://beemephoto.com/wp-admin/plugins.php.

I 100% have Page Builder installed and was using it for every post. Somehow with the latest wp update, something happened to that file. If you go in to a post, you should get a message to update page builder. When i try to do that, the update fails every time because the file already exists. I'm not sure what that means exactly and am puzzled by the whole situation.

Great idea about the back up. I need to talk to my host about it.

    Hi, I Work Here

I didn’t see a prompt to install Page Builder when checking pages. Let me have another look now.

    Hi, I Work Here

Let’s try re-installing Page Builder. To do that we’ll need to delete the Page Builder folder. Although Page Builder isn’t showing up under Plugins the folder is there so we can’t re-install without action. To do this you’ll need to use FTP or Hosting File Manager, navigate to /wp-content/plugins and delete the folder called “siteorigin-panels”. Once that’s done we can re-install Page Builder.

Chatting to your hosts at the same time about the last backup point is also a good idea.
