Weirdness with removing featured image

Hiya,
Having another weird issue…I set a featured image for a post but then decided I wanted to remove it. I hit ‘remove featured image’ and then re-publish page–nothing happens. It won’t remove. I can change it, but not remove it once set. Help?

    Sorry to hear about the hassle.

    After updating the page is the featured image still showing in the right column or is it only then showing on the front end of the site? If it’s only showing on the site’s front end, are you perhaps running a caching plugin? If so, trying clearing the plugin’s cache.
