Here is the story. I went live with a new WordPress site for a business client last night. Looked great in Safari. Client contacts me and says none of the plugins on the main area of the homepage are showing up in IE, Firefox or Chrome (only a bunch of code for these plugins is showing up on the homepage in these other browsers.) One thing is that if I added /index to end of the URL then I could see the homepages correctly on all browsers! So I did a redirect on the host server and after that worked a few minutes I started getting error messages about too many redirects/loops and not site showing up at all on any browsers!
NOT good. So I was finally able to make the site show up OK on IE, Firefox and Safari by editing the “static front page” to make both “Home” and “Posts” to both show up on the homepage. Now I am getting a weird homepage in Chrome and on mobile iphone, but site looks great on all other browsers. Please note I do not have a blog or any “posts” on this website. It is just a simple business site. I just want to regular static homepage to show up correctly on ALL browsers and on mobile. I am using the Vantage theme in WordPress. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP! ;-)
Website homepage not displaying homepage plugins on Chrome and Mobile.
