Hi,
After todays WordPress update, my site is completely broken: http://www.fromscratch.agency/fr/home-page/
I use the Site Origin Page builder, but after update all my content was moved to editor. When I moved back to page builder, all my setup was gone and my content was put in 1 row.
Is there a way to fix this?
Thx, Hilde
Hi Hilde,
This sounds like it could be a plugin conflict issue. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.
If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.
Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.
If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.
Hi,
No luck: after disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins, nothing changed; I cleared cashes and tried other browsers. The Theme I use is SiteOrigin North.
Thx
Hi HildeDouliez,
Hm. To clarify, is this issue only occurring for a single post or is it for everything? If it’s the latter, try opening a page you’ve never opened before and then, could you please send me the contents of your console? Please refer to this guide on how to access your browser console.
Hi,
I repaired my website, thanks to duplicator. The only thing that needs adapting is the slugs: now my slug became : http://www.fromscratch.agency/nl/home-page-nederlands-2/, and I want it to return to http://www.fromscratch.agency/nl/. Any suggestions how to do this? Normally you can change slugs by editing them in your page, but here this function doesn’t appear.

Hi HildeDouliez,
Sorry for the delay.
I’m glad you managed to restore. Can you please send me a copy of the screenshot via a different means? We’re currently unable to process file attachments. Please upload the image to a third party image hosting site such as vgy.me or imgur.com.
Good morning,
As you can see on the screenshot below, the option to change the slug is not available. I need to restore this to http://www.fromscratch.agency/nl instead of http://www.fromscratch.agency/nl/home-page-nederlands-2/.
Thx

Hi HildeDouliezm
As mentioned, we’re currently unable to process file attachments. Can you please upload the image to a third party image hosting site such as vgy.me or imgur.com and send me the link? Currently the image is coming across as [cid:[email protected]] for me.

Hi HildeDouliez,
Sorry for the delay.
Okay, so this is happening as the page is currently assigned as the home page. You’re unable to change the slug when it’s assigned. Please navigate to WP AdminSettingsReading and change the Home Page temporarily to a different page and save. Change the slug to the desired slug and then navigate back to WP AdminSettingsReading (the page must have been reloaded after changing the slug), and change the front page back to your desired home page.
Let me know if this helps.
YES! Pfffff! Thanks!
