Wanted to test Page Builder

I wanted to check out Page Builder and installed it along with the widgets package. I believe I have all of the settings done correctly and when opening a *new* post all appears to be well. Attempting to edit an *old* post or draft, I do not have the option to use Page Builder. I do a lot of my writing in draft mode – write on the fly then come back and clean it up before publishing. Do I need to take each of my draft articles and copy them into a new post entry to get Page Builder to work?

Thank you!

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Charles

Unless you were already using the Classic Editor plugin then you might be seeing Page Builder pages/posts in classic format and your existing pages in Block Editor format. You can use Page Builder in the Block Editor via the SiteOrigin Layout Block and the Widgets Bundle via the SiteOrigin Widget Block. From SettingsPage Builder you can stop Page Builder defaulting to the Classic Editor if you’d prefer just keeping in mind there isn’t an auto migrate between the two editors, manual migration is possible.
