I’ve searched every forum around and can’t find any info on this. I am using Vantage with WooCommerce. I would like to limit the length of the product description on the search results page, so for example instead of a result returning that looks like this:

The main thing, is to keep each result shorter and eliminate that “Product description continues below” text, which is on a lot of our product pages. I have a Child Theme set up and would be comfortable adding code to it.
While we’re at it, if there is also a way to reduce the image size to 200 x 200 pixels, that would be great, too.

Unfortunately, this isn’t possible without a fair amount of custom coding. This is beyond the scope of what we can help you with on our forums, but you could hire a developer to implement this for you.
We recommend using Codeable. You’ll be able to hire someone at an hourly rate to do this work for you.
