Visual editor problem

8 years ago · Last reply by Alex S 8 years ago

Using all the latest versions of Word Press and Site Origin Page Builder/Widget Bundle, I’m a bit confounded as to why the TinyMCE Advanced editor does not appear when I am editing a SiteOrigin Editor widget.

For a page not using page builder, here is what visual mode looks like:

For a page using page builder, it seems like TinyMCE Advanced is just being ignored and I am getting the default WordPress visual layout:

Does anyone know how to enable TinyMCE Advanced in the SiteOrigin Editor widget?

    Update.

I disabled all plugins except for Page Builder, SO Widgets (because the page I am editing is using widgets here) and TinyMCE Advanced. Then uninstalled and re-installed Page Builder and the problem persists.

It would appear that Page Builder knows I am using TinyMCE because when I add the editor widget it has the default “tinymce” as the text for the empty widget.
