    Hi Eva

So to confirm, are you saying that content is no longer being copied from Page Builder to your Visual/Text tabs? If that’s the case, please confirm that setting is checked at Settings > SiteOrigin Page Builder: Copy Content.

    Hi Andrew,

the “Copy Content” setting for Page Builder is enabled. So if I want to edit a page, I can see the content structured in boxes, but when I go and try to edit one of the boxes I can only edit html (only text view is available). There is also a tab “visual preview”, and it used to display the content (as it is seen on the original page), now it’s blank.

Another change is that when I click on the “text view”, the html code used to be kind of crowded in one line, not it’s displayed with some extra space between paragraphs, so looks better, but when I try to add: to gain some space between paragraphs on the page – it doesn’t work, as if wordpress didn’t see the …

    Hope it makes sense.

To confirm, it’s not possible to edit Page Builder content via the Visual or Text tabs. The Copy Content setting only exists to allow for plugins like WordPress SEO to gain access to Page Builder content.

If the Page Builder tab is no longer present next to Visual and Text please try temporarily de-activating all non-SiteOrigin plugins and re-testing. If the issue is resolved please re-activate your plugins one by one, each time checking the problem.

It’s possible via the Text tab (although it seems to ignore some parts, like I’ve mentioned), but its not possible via the Visual tab – this one is blank.

Page Builder tab is present when I choose one page which I want to edit, and I can see all the boxes, but when I go and try edit one of them – there is no visual preview. I was wondering maybe this has something to do with the pluggin…

Even if some changes are accepted you ideally shouldn’t change Page Builder content via the Text or Visual tabs.

It is possible to use the main Preview button with Page Builder, that button is situated top right in the Publish box. We unfortunately have a Preview bug at the moment. Using Preview is effectively Updating/Saving the page/post. This renders it pretty useless as a Preview at the moment. We’re doing some major Page Builder development at the moment and hope to have this fixed soon.
