Hi,

I installed the Vantage theme and am following a 3rd party tutorial in which they’re demonstrating use of the Visual Editor widget, however the widget is not present in my installation. Should it be installed with the Vantage theme as standard, or does it need to be installed separately?

    Hi Sentient,

    We don’t include a visual editor widget in Vantage as it’s not something a theme is allowed (as per WordPress.org guidelines) to include (as far as I can tell0)

    I would recommend either installing the (read: our) SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle which includes a widget called the SiteOrigin Editor, which is an equivalent widget, or I would install the Black Studio TinyMCE Widget which inclues a visual editor widget.
