Hello,
Premium user
Since today embedded video / youtube scales to 235px width when on a resolution of 680px or lower, before this didn’t happen. Had the plugin ‘Youtube Channel Gallery’ installed (though not sure if this is related), but problem remains appearing even after deactivating that plugin. Any ideas on how can this be fixed?
Thanks in advance
Hi Qurtuba
Try re-inserting the video into the site. Try inserting the following iframe into the Text tab of the Visual Editor widget. To get access to this widget, first install: http://wordpress.org/plugins/black-studio-tinymce-widget/
Hi Andrew,
Thanks for the fast reply. It gives the same problem, ‘allowfullscreen’ is already called through the stylesheet, but this code equally collapses the size back to 235px after going to 680px screen width…
Thanks for the feedback.
Testing locally using the information above I’m not seeing the same problem so there is something in your setup that is causing the problem. Please try re-testing with all non-SiteOrigin plugins de-activated and see if the result changes.
Thanks again Andrew,
I’ve deactivated all plugins except for ‘Black Studio TinyMCE Widget’, ‘Meta Slider’, and ‘Page Builder by SiteOrigin’. After that strangely enough the video would still resize to 235px when on mobile dimensions.
Then I re-activated all plugins one by one. It kept resizing to 235px until I activated ‘Email Before Download’, then it was forced to 1080px, so no responsiveness. Stayed this way until ‘WordPress Download Monitor’ was re-activated, which caused the video frame to be resized to 235px again… This plugin is no longer developed nor maintained, though needed with the ‘Email Before Download’ plugin.
Any suggestions on keeping these plugins but still find a workaround?
Small update: Have deleted those plugins, but video still resizes to 235
Thanks for the update. I’ll take a look and see if I can get a little further.

Hi Andrew, thanks for the reply. I found the problem, it was related to the ‘Email Before Download’ plugin and some style code I made for it. That forced the video to scale down as well, deleted both the plugin and specific code and works like a charm again.
Thanks for your replies.
Awesome, glad to hear you were able to resolve. All the best.
