I have used the video widget to add a selfhosted webm on the footer of a page with the builder. But there is an odd small black box overlayed on it that seems to be absent when using Firefox but with Chrome browser it is there. The reason I am asking this here is that as far as I can tell the same video inserted with the html 5 video tag on a hand coded html non siteorigin page on same site does not have the box in any browser.
Links to page and screenshots as to what I see:
Siteorigin video widget on metallian.com (near the bottom on the page), screenshot is https://i.imgur.com/hE33COY.png notice the black square middle top of the video
Inserted the same video using html5 video tag on metallian.com/about.php (a hand coded html page), screenshot is https://i.imgur.com/z4nU6vU.png no black square.

Seperately, in the video widget options I see for ‘alternate sources’, ‘preload’ and a loop checkbox. The Help files mention autoplay, is autoplay not there anymore?
For the record, everything is the same as above if I use the Siteorigin editor widget (even autoplay set to on doesn’t work as far as I can see!)
()WP is 5.5 for now but Siteorigin is all latest, so are browsers on WIndows 10)
Hi, thanks for reaching out.
The black box doesn’t appear for me in Chrome. Please, could you try disabling all Chrome extensions and see if the issue persists?
Here are the options you should be seeing in the SiteOrigin Video Player widget: https://imgur.com/a/Nwal06J.
