video as Background on a hero or the Visual Editor

I was able to add a video background to a Visual Editor row, but when I try to do it on a hero with much better text control, the video doesn’t expand to the full width it’s just a small padded one, inside the frame. I was wondering if I can add a full width video or edit the CSS somewhere to make my video cover the full with, what css IDs or classes are used to control the widget so I can override them and make the video look the way I want it?

    Hi Rick,

    The issue you’re having is likely due to padding being added by the widget. I would recommend checking over your Design and Layout settings.

    With that said, you can actually set a video background via the frame background settings and that will likely provide a better result than manually adding a video to the editor.

    Ensure that you’ve removed the background color of the frame or the video will not show.
