where can I take action to vertically align the image (google paly) on the header?

    Try the following under Appearance > Custom CSS and adjust as required:

    /* Vantage Header Sidebar Padding */

header#masthead .hgroup #header-sidebar[style] {
padding-top: 5px !important;
padding-bottom: 5px !important;
}
