Vantage Theme: Unable to translate “posted on” “by” lines.

Hi,

I’m having trouble translating tags: “posted on” and “by”. All the other translations work fine, but this particular ones don’t. I’m using PoEdit.

Posted on <a href="%1$s" title="%2$s" rel="bookmark">%4$s</a>%6$s
<span class="byline"> by <span class="author vcard"><a class="url fn n" href="%7$s" title="%8$s" rel="author">%9$s</a></span></span>

Is there any way to fix this?

    When you translate the following:

    Posted on %s

    Are you including the string representation in the translation?

    If I search Posted on in Poedit I find:

    Posted on %s

    Can you confirm that string has been translated?

    Hi,
    No, I’m still struggling with that issue.

    The only string I can find in vantage .pot file to translate these tags are as follows:

    Posted on <a href="%1$s" title="%2$s" rel="bookmark"><time class="entry-date" datetime="%3$s">%4$s</time></a><time class="updated" datetime="%5$s">%6$s</time>[code]
[code]<span class="byline"> by <span class="author vcard"><a class="url fn n" href="%7$s" title="%8$s" rel="author">%9$s</a></span></span>

    I translated them both without any success.

    Apologies, I’m trying to get to the bottom of this. Can you try using this file instead:

    https://siteorigin.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/vantage.pot

    And let me know if you get a different result?
