I have been told by GoDaddy Visualizer Charts is spiking my CPU use causing a lost conection to the server. I have disabled all plugins and check for incompatibility. As it turns out, it appears the Vantage theme is creating the issue. Are their any known conflicts with this theme and Visualizer Charts?
Hi, not that we’re aware of. You can try deactivating FitVids from CustomizeTheme SettingsLayout. That’s the only conflict area that I can think of. (We already deactivate FitVids for TableauViz, not for performance but because FitVids.js breaks TableauViz.) If the issue persists, ideally try testing with a default theme like Twenty Nineteen to see if the issue persists.
Hi Andrew,
Thanks for the quick response. I deactivated the FitVids but the problem persists. When I run the Heath Check plugin and leave all the plugins active
I have no issues and it is using Twenty Nineteen as the default theme.
That's why I think its an issue with Vantage.
Thanks for confirming. How are you testing the problem after activating Twenty Nineteen? Can you see CPU usage in your hosting control panel?
Actually I just try to update a post or page and if it takes longer than a minute or two I lose my connection to the host server. GoDaddy monitored the issue and said Visualizer Charts was spiking the CPU usage. Visualizer
(Themeisle) said they believe it was a theme or plugin conflict. That's why
I looked at using Health Check.
Thanks.
Have you tested with Vantage activated and all plugins deactivated except for Visualizer Charts? I assume so but just want to make sure.
Not quite sure how to do that but I will and let you know.
If you have tested with Vantage and all plugins deactivated except for Visualizer Charts, the next step would be to try to find an error. Here is how you can check for a JS error when saving the page:

Andrew,
Here is the error I seem to get each time.
It looks like it can't load an image, am I reading that correctly?
Thanks for the update.
Could you please, confirm that the issue persists when only Vantage and Visualizer Charts is activated? All other plugins deactivated. Does the issue persist?
I'm having a difficult time figuring this out because while using the Health
Check plugin, Vantage and Visualizer work fine. In the normal environment, I have the issue, but I have not disabled all plugins in the normal environment so it very well may not be the Vantage theme at all.
Thanks for the reply. That would be the next step I recommend taking in the troubleshooting process. It should be a quick test to run. Go to Plugins, select all plugins except for Visualizer Charts, deactivate and then re-test.
Thanks for your help. Before I do that I am going to go page by page checking for JS errors using the console. It appears an image was causing the issue on at least one page so I need to clear those up first and see if that clear up the issue. Also, if I disable all the plugins under the normal environment, will I lose any data or settings? I have already backed up the site in case.
Sounds good.
No data will be lost by temporarily deactivating plugins.
I am seeing this error on a few pages:
render-google.js?ver=3.2.1:227 render.getImageURI not defined for visualizer-14573
I suspect this is also what GoDaddy was pointing to as the issue.
Thanks for the update. Try running a plugin conflict test to see if a working baseline is available.
