Vantage Theme Robots.txt Question

Hi All,

I’m using the Vantage theme for my WordPress site (cormarketingsolutions.com) and am currently trying to submit my site to Google Search Console. I keep getting the error that my pages are not crawlable, as the robots.txt tester is showing up as disallow.

I think this is a relatively simple fix from what I’ve read, but don’t want to risk corrupting the entire theme by changing the wrong file. Does anybody know, in regards to this theme, the best way to go about fixing this problem so my site can be crawled and indexed by Google Search Console?

Thanks in advance!

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Joe,

robots.txt isn’t actually related to the theme itself. In your instance, it’s at the base of the domain and I’ve taken a quick look and it looks fine. As such, I suspect you’ve disabled accidently set WordPress to discourage search engines. Please navigate to WP AdminSettingsReading and ensure that Search Engine Visibility is unticked.
