Jetpack has been adding the Portfolio content type for several years now. So much so, that many themes include support for it automatically (including your own Unwind theme, though only as of this past October…)
Will Vantage (which is touted as the “most popular” theme Siteorigin produces) ever include native support for the Portfolio content type?
If there’s no immediate plan for adding support, is there a workaround or anything that doesn’t break the Jetpack system?
There are several threads from a couple years ago with similar problems, and the response was basically “ignore the Jetpack system entirely” and just drop some widgets into a new page. I’d really prefer to do things more cleanly.
