Hi,
I’m using Vantage as my website’s theme, although the site is heavily customised visual wise, nothing’s been changed in the backend files.
I’m been trying to test SSL on my website, and it looks like while most of the things work fine, some contents are being blocked (probably due to them being http). Mobile menu doesn’t come out anymore on any page that has a pricing table. (This can be tested by resizing the browser window to a phone-like size).
Is there a way around this? or I can’t use the theme with SSL right now?
Regards
Hi clse945111
I tested on OS X Chrome, Safari and Firefox now and all seem to be rendering the menu and price table correctly. Is it just the home page that I should be testing on?
Hi Andrew,
Thanks for your reply.
The pricing tables display fine, but when there’s a pricing table present – the nav menu doesn’t work (only the mobile version).
If you can, could you please try it on your mobile?
The home page is the best example.
Thanks
Ahh right, sorry, forgot to test on my phone. It does seem to be opening fine on Chrome iOS 8. Are you perhaps testing on another mobile OS?
Hmm that’s interesting. I’m using Android 4.4 with Chrome.
The problem is that it displays fine, but when I click on the menu for it to come out – it doesn’t come out.
If you can successfully get the menu to come out, I’ll probably do a video to demonstrate the issue.
The problem is there as well when I just resize my desktop browser to a mobile size.
Tried Chrome and Opera.
Thanks for reporting. Let me get a consult on my side and come back to you as soon as I have something. Perhaps there is another approach we can take to resolving. I’ll be back with you ASAP.
Ok so I don’t see this on desktop either. What OS is that on?
Tried on Windows 8.1 64bit (one desktop and one laptop)
Also a Redhat Linux 64bit desktop.
All the same result.
Windows 7 Chrome seems to be working fine.
Thanks for the additional feedback. Let me chat to Greg and come back to you on this.
I’ve finally found the issue.
As I use CloudFlare for the site, it looks like the closest to me CloudFlare server (Sydney) had the old non-https files cached.
After I used the Cache Purge function on CloudFlare, it looks like I can use the mobile menu fine now… which explains why Andrew was able to access the menu fine. (The closest CloudFlare server for him didn’t have old files cached).
Awesome, thanks for troubleshooting that. Glad to hear it’s resolved now.
All the best.
