vantage theme – logo distorted

11 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 11 years ago

hey guys,
premium user, love vantage. 2 things: first logo in nav bar, looks great but on older windows explorer, logo gets real distorted stretched out wide. is there workaround. also in same browser, circle widgets are square!?

    Hi Bob

    We’ve adopted the concept of graceful degradation. This means that we make a best effort to support older browsers but things aren’t always perfect. Older browsers do not support the CSS border-radius attribute, this is why the circle icons appear square.

    As for the logo. The solution there would be to resize your logo before you upload it. The ideal size is 35 pixels high.

    Bob, in that layout the logo does get constrained. If you’d like to choose your own size for the logo then try the following under Appearance > Custom CSS:

    /* Vantage Remove Logo in Menu img constraint */

    header#masthead.masthead-logo-in-menu .logo > img {
    max-height: none !important;
    }

    (I don’t think Greg has a brother called Joel. We’re based in Cape Town, South Africa although have certainly enjoyed our trips to the US.)
