    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Justin

If you’re making use of Page Builder you could use a Post Loop Widget to display your posts and insert content above it. If you’d like to go this route, head over to SettingsReading to deselect your Posts page first.

    Hi Andrew

I’m not using page builder, but I could look at the post loop widget. Though really I’m only wanting to add a short text into to my blog. The posts page is rather bare as is.

Sorry typo, should have said “short text intro”

    Hi Justin

If you select your Blog page as the Posts page at SettingsReading no other content will be displayed. Deselecting your Posts page and using Page Builder with the Post Loop Widget on the Posts page is a way of solving the problem. You could perhaps create a custom widget area via a child theme but that’ll take a bit of time and is an intermediate-level task. You could also use another plugin besides Page Builder to insert your post loop manually. I, unfortunately, don’t have any to recommend at the moment.

Thanks, yes, I decided to make a posts page with a plugin that just shows a post list. Very simple but with a little intro to the blog. Thanks for the reply,
