Vantage Theme: How to add phone number to header? Please help!

Hi,

Could someone please point me in the right direction as to where I can add the business phone number to the header of our website?

We’re using Vantage theme and judging by the demo template, it looks like its an easy fix- I just don’t know where within wordpress to add it in.

I would like to add the phone number where it says ‘Call me! Maybe?’ on the demo http://demo.siteorigin.com/vantage/

    Hi Emma,

    There are two ways you can do this.

    Please navigate to WP AdminAppearanceCustomize, Theme SettingsLogo and adjust the Header Text Text field.

    if you’re looking for more control. Please navigate to WP AdminAppearanceWidgets and add a text widget to your Header widget area. This will replace the Header Text but it’ll give you more options for adding the text and it’ll prevent the need for using HTML.

    I would recommend giving the Vantage documentation a read.

    Hi Alex,

    Thanks so much for getting back to me and sorry for the late reply!!

    I have tried adding the phone number to the header by editing the widget section, and adding the contact number to the header section and it still won’t appear on the site. It saved and everything, but it isn’t actually visible on the header of the website.

    I also tried going through o WP admin > appearance > widgets, but the only option which comes up is to edit the footer.

    Do you have any other suggestions as to how I can get the phone number on the header like the Vantage Demo?

    Hi Emma,

    Unfortunately, the Masthead Layout you’re using (Logo In Menu) doesn’t currently support widgets for the header text (the text in the demo). Your only real option for adding text here to manually add it via a child theme (which I sadly can’t assist with) or to add the text with the help of a plugin.
