Vantage Theme home page issue

Hello, I’m using the Vantage theme and I can’t seem to get shortcode content to show up on the home page. I am currently trying to add the shortcode on a ‘Home Page’ header.

If I create a new page and add that same shortcode, the shortcode content works just fine. Not sure how to proceed.

    Hi Praveen,

    Could you clarify what a homepage header is?

    Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on? If you need to keep this URL private from other users, just select “Private Reply” on the bottom right of the comment box.

    Thanks for reply Alex, i have solved that problem, but now i have issue in evergreen countdown plugin…. it works properly on homepage header, but i want to hide the countdown when it will be finished. so please solve my this issue.

    Hi Praveen,

    I’m unfamiliar with that plugin so I would recommend contacting the plugin developers for support on that issue. With that said, I may be able to help – but I’ll need a link to your page. Said page will need to have a countdown still counting down and the other with a completely finished countdown. That way I’ll be able to make markup comparisons to be able to know if I can help with this issue or not.

    please see on the top there is a countdown, but it has not hidden funtionality when the timer/countdown will be finish.

    I really need to see a finished countdown so I can compare the two for any differences that I can use to hide the widget. Could you set up another page with a countdown still counting down and the other with a completely finished countdown?

    Hi Praveen,

    Ah, awkward – that countdown is setup with an amount similar to the header – I can’t view the expired countdown until it runs out. Regardless, I see nothing in the countdown markup that really jumps out at me for identifying the countdown. As such, you contact the plugin developers for support.
