Vantage Theme Customize – White Screen – After update

Hi everyone,

I am having some issues with the Vantage theme customization showing a white screen when trying to customize the theme.

I only noticed this after the update, because I need to make changes.

I have done all that this forum has suggested, from increasing memory limit, do deactivating plugins. I will admit that I did not deactivate Smart Slider, as this is an integral part of the theme.

The output from WP_DEBUG shows the following:

[22-Jan-2024 06:58:14 UTC] PHP Fatal error: preg_split(): Cannot use output buffering in output buffering display handlers in /usr/www/users/robdyzzvzw/wp-content/plugins/smart-slider-3/Nextend/Framework/WordPress/AssetInjector.php on line 122

    Hi Michael

    Thanks for posting your question.

    Please, try deactivating Smart Slider 3 for the test; it looks like the error originates from Smart Slider 3.
