Hi, when I make changes in CSS in Vantage the changes are slow to complete, other sites that I work in WP work well, why this problem?…
and when I use child theme: @import url(“../vantage/style.css”); does’nt display changes or it displays the web without styles.

All WordPress.org themes completely overwrite their own folder during theme updates. If we push an update and you run it you’ll lose all of the changes you’ve made to style.css. To resolve this situation you’d need to use https://sourcegear.com/diffmerge/ to compare your style.css file with the original. Below you’ll find a link to download the Vantage Premium ZIP file. Pull style.css out of that and compare it with your version. Carefully copy only the edited rules into the form field at Appearance > Custom CSS.

If you only need to make CSS changes then Appearance > Custom CSS is all you need. No child theme required. You’re running a caching plugin so there is a chance that’s getting in the way of you seeing changes. I recommend clearing its cache from its setting page and then de-activating it until you’re done with development.
