Vantage theme and Permalinks

Hi,

I have the Vantage theme installed. I changed the permalink to “post name”. As a result, the main homepage does not load anymore. The browser stopped loading with a message that too many redirects occurred trying to open www.homepage.com

Any URL other than the main site works fine. If I change the permalink to the ugly plain format, the main site can be reached again.

I deleted all themes other than vantage and twenty twenty. I also removed all plugins other than the three site-builder ones.

How can I activate the “post name” type of permalinks?

    Thanks for posting.

    This might be one for hosting support to help with. Try going to AppearanceThemes and temporarily switching to Twenty Twenty. Next, go to SettingsPermalinks and change to Post Name. Does the issue persist? This quick test will let you know if the problem is with Vantage or somewhere else.
