In order to find a solution for my needs in having both Italian and English versions, I would appreciate if you can give e a feedback about a possibility I’ve found.
First I have evaluated the WPML but it gives me more overheads than benefits. After all, at the moment I need only a possibility to swap the menu (translated) that point to specific language pages.
I have seen that the Vantage Theme supports only 1 menu, but it’s possible to define more than one menu and through the wp dashborad it’s possible to swap and decide to use a different already defined menu.
Now my question is the following: is it possible to write a function that can swap the menu instead doing this from dashboard?
What I want to achieve is the following. In my italian home page, I have an english flag that point to the english home page. When I click on this flag , I trigger a JQuery or JavaScript function (click event) that swap the menu before pointing to the page.
Is it feasible? Any issues behind that I am not able to see?
Of couse the lines of code needed for the swap is welcome.

Unfortunately, this isn’t possible without a fair amount of custom coding. This is beyond the scope of what we can help you with on the forums, but you could hire a developer to implement this for you.
We highly recommend using https://codeable.io/.
