I am using the Vantage theme, and the page has been set to show my latest posts. In “Reading” I set the number of maximum displayed posts to 15, however, the first page shows much more posts. As soon as I scroll to the next page or use a category search, 15 posts are displayed. Any idea, why only the first page shows something different, and how to fox this? WordPress doesn’t include sticky posts in the count which is why there are more posts on the first page. Unfortunately, I don’t have an easy solution to change that behavior. I had a look around for a plugin to assist but couldn’t find one.
Aah, this explains it! I just removed all sticky posts for the time-being, and everything looks fine.
