Vantage: Start page shows more posts than specified in settings

Hi,
I am using the Vantage theme, and the page has been set to show my latest posts. In “Reading” I set the number of maximum displayed posts to 15, however, the first page shows much more posts. As soon as I scroll to the next page or use a category search, 15 posts are displayed. Any idea, why only the first page shows something different, and how to fox this? Page is www.thomas-marschner.de

    Thanks for reaching out.

    WordPress doesn’t include sticky posts in the count which is why there are more posts on the first page. Unfortunately, I don’t have an easy solution to change that behavior. I had a look around for a plugin to assist but couldn’t find one.

    Aah, this explains it! I just removed all sticky posts for the time-being, and everything looks fine.
