Folks, thanks for doing great work on the page builder plugin. I’ve used several others, and this one is very good.
However, I have a site set up with the default Home Page as a Page (“Home”). Working in Vantage. In that page editor, the Page Builder plugin allows setting parallax image backgrounds for the rows. However, if I browse to the page when logged in as the editor, then click the Edit Home Page link in the admin top toolbar, I get a slightly different editor experience (I believe it’s the same as WP Admin ? Appearance > Home Page). If it helps, the URLs are:
Editing the Page: [mydomain.com]/wp-admin/post.php?post=5&action=edit
Other/Less Functional Editor: [mydomain.com]/wp-admin/themes.php?page=so_panels_home_page
In the second page editor, there’s no chooser for the background image in the row editor, and also no option to set parallax, etc. Worse, if I save from that page, any rows that previously had background images lose them.
Am I missing something? Is there a version mismatch?
p.s. Since the Live Editor works, and the editor from WP Admin > Pages > [page name] works, I’ll instruct my editors to only use those options when they need to edit. So we’re okay for now, but it’s pretty weird.

We recently introduced the row design settings group and it looks like the custom homepage functionality (in Vantage) isn’t able to detect the post meta for the legacy check so it’s still showing the old theme settings group.
I’m going to log this as a major issue and ask that it be looked into asap. Very sorry about this!
