Vantage Pro [raw] tags when not using pagebuilder

I have disabled pagebuilder because it was using too much memory when combined with my directory listing plugin (seems it was trying to write all the code for whatever was being rendered and also breaking shortcodes for that plugin) anyways… no pagebuilder.

Problem is now that whenever i use a shortcode in a page it adds [raw][/raw] tags everywhere…

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Jason

Sorry to hear about the hassle. We’ve made performance improvements to Page Builder but still, it’s a big plugin so combined with another big plugin I can see how there could be problems.

Can you perhaps check that this isn’t coming from another plugin? Have you tested with all plugins de-activated? Try leaving just the related plugin activated. So for example, if you’re inserting a shortcode for Meta Slider, just leave Meta Slider activated and test with everything else de-activated.

the only time it happens is when i put a shortcode inside another shortcode. the example of this is that i have installed the vision shortcodes plugin from truthemes, which i have used many times in the past, and if i use one of their animated service icons, i dont get any [raw] tags, but if i put that service icon inside of a column creating shortcode that the plugin also has, i get the codes, same as if i put my directory shortcode inside one of the column ones. i can give you a login via email if you want to log in and see it in action. like i mentioned, i have used the vision shortcodes on many projects, and the only new thing is the theme. but i have submitted a ticket to truthemes as well to see if they have experienced it with other themes.

    Hi, I Work Here

Thanks for the all the info here, that helps us understand a lot better. The next step here, as you indicated, would be to narrow this done. Testing with a default theme activated would let you know if this was theme related.

no issues with twenty fifteen, also no issues with buzz theme that i am
also using with the same setup, and the issue only presents on the
homepage, i can use the shortcodes on all the other pages, so its somethign
to do with how it is parsing the data in preparation for possibly the
    expected use of pagebuilder?

    Hi, I Work Here

Thanks again for the testing, I know this is slow. If you’re working from Appearance > Home Page, please go there and click the Edit As A Page link at the top. Then try redoing the shortcode from the home page in Pages where that link will take you. Any difference?

Nope. I've tried that as well as creating a new page and doing the codes
then setting it as font page and doing that before and after turning off
custom home page option. I basically tried every combination I could think
    of lol.

    Hi, I Work Here

Which page template is your home page running? If it’s Page Builder Home, try changing that to Default or Full Width, that’s the only thing I can think of here.

    full width no title
