Hi,

I have problems with my Vantage Pro themes menu. It splits words and puts them on two lines, I have worked with the fonts so they all fit on one line but when i go to a subpage the subpage menu is all messed up and on two lines. Then when I push the home menu to go back to the homepage the homepage menu is messed up.

Help?

    Hi

    Try inserting the following under Appearance > Custom CSS:

    /* Vantage Sub Menu Width */
    .main-navigation ul ul a {
      width: auto !important;
    }
    .main-navigation ul ul li {
    min-width: 250px;
    white-space: nowrap;
    width: 100%;
    }

    Hope that helps.

    Hi, Thanks for trying to help . It did not work. The submenus are fine. Its the top menu that changes when you go to any page under the main menu items. Then when you push the Home tab from one of the pages the home page messes up. Like the HOME tab has HOM on one line and an E under it. It breaks up every item on the main menu. Any ideas?

    Hi again,
    Nope it did fix it . Thanks Andrew Misplon ! :) The fonts are tiny now but I think i can fix that. Hopefully!

    I’m unfortunately not seeing that in OS X Chrome. Any chance the problem is related to the font and Custom CSS being used here? Perhaps try testing without that.

    Hi,
    Well, I could not fix the the size of the text in the menu. So I figured I’d just buy Uber menu and that would fix it . Wrong! I installed Ubermenu but as you know they aren’t very compatible. Anyway, I found the Vantage child theme for Uber menus that you made and I installed it but I did NOT acitvate it. I’m afraid I will not be able to use my premium options from vantage premium. Will I lose the extra stuff I received with Vantage premium on that theme? Do you have a template for Vantage Premium child for Ubermenu? Sorry, to bother you again.

    Did I read somewhere that you have an upgrade coming for vantage premium that will help with this problem ? I ready don’t want to switch vantage premium child to a new one. I just don’t know where the code goes. The Ubermenu told us the code and said it was probably under header.php. but I think it is menu.php in Vantage but I don’t know.

    Switching to a child theme late in development is a bit of work. All Customizer options will be reset so you have to go through and redo all of those. We have an integration with UberMenu pending in 2.0.4, if you can hang on for that it should be live in the next 1-2 weeks.
